Since its foundation, the company has been dedicated to the exploration and research of the treatment of pharmaceutical and chemical wastewater, and invested about 100 million yuan in total in environment protection. In cooperation with Japan EBARA Co., Ltd., the company introduced the technology of denitrification + superfine PW membrane filtering for the treatment of pharmaceutical and chemical wastewater. In June, 2000, a 700 ton/day wastewater treatment system was built and put into operation. In August of the same year, the system was inspected and accepted by provincial enviroment protection authority, through which the wastewater met the discharge standards of national first-grade after being treated. In 2004, as the company grew in scale, PW membrane filtering system was also adopted to expand and rebuild the two wastewater treatment systems respectively installed in our home base in Xunqiao and Huanan Chemicals; meanwhile, the new Chuannan waste water treatment system was also built in this year. So far, our company possesses three sets of wastewater treatment systems that are respectively installed in the home base, Chuannan and Huanan subsidiaries, realizing a wastewater treatment capability up to 4500 ton/day in total.
